The $1,000,000 Legatum FORTUNE Technology Prize

The $1,000,000 Legatum FORTUNE Technology Prize, was conceived by and developed for FORTUNE Magazine and Legatum Global Development by the SEVEN Fund. It is part of
SEVEN’s Pioneers of Prosperity program, and will be awarded on an annual basis to an
individual or organization that demonstrates the impact of technology upon intractable
development issues. The first award was be made in December 2008 at the Global
