This photograph was taken in Gaushala, a crowded urban center in Kathmandu, Nepal. Few packs of cigarettes, bunch of instant noodles packets and some kilos of nuts make her Nanglo Pasal, a shop that fits in that large bamboo plate on which the items are being displayed called Nanglo in Nepali. She holds the ground of this humble work of hers amidst the heavy dust from the street, in the scorching sun until it rains or until it is dark to support her daughter's education because she wants to make sure her daughter gets everything in life which she never had. Paving her way through her dream, through entrepreneurship!
