Clicked in one of the small by-lanes of North Kolkata, this is a picture of a hand-rickshaw puller. Kolkata is the only place in the world which has this mode of transport where the rickshaw puller actually pulls the cart instead of cycling. Though fast dwindling because of it's tiring and seemingly cruel nature, this is still a form of income of a lot of people from the by-gone era who haven't been able to adapt to modern equipment.
